Nursery @ 10:30
The Nursery, under the leadership of a trained staff, is available during the 10:30 Sanctuary Service for children from birth through age three. Simple Bible stories are read to the children.
Children’s Worship at 10:30
Kindergarten through grade five start off the morning with their own exciting worship experience in the Fellowship Hall. Praise singing is led through large screen video along with skits performed by middle and high school students.
Kindergarten through Fifth grades class following Children’s Worship at 10:45
We presently have two fun classes for children; Kindergarten through Second Grade and Third through Fifth Grade taught by two approved adults per class. Middle School and High School students attend their own classes at 10:45. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning and attention-grabbing projects.
Upward Sports
During the week we offer a Christ centered basketball and cheerleading program for K-7th grade through Upward Sports (www.upward.org). Children do not have to be Christian to participate but they will hear the good news of Jesus Christ each week and learn sportsmanship that reflects a follower of Christ.
Home Away From Home Tutoring Program
After school tutoring is offered for a small fee each afternoon Monday-Thursday from 2:00-5:00 in the Family Center Gym. Included is a recreation and sports component, snacks and games. Middle School students assist adults in leading this event.
Vacation Bible School
During the first week of August each year we offer a fun, action packed week of Vacation Bible School for grades K-5th.. Puppets, crafts, singing and hands on classes make an exciting week to learn God’s Word and make new friends.
